This year, all of us at Glendale Animal Hospital have much to be thankful for. We celebrated our first year in the new building with a fall festival of sorts, complete with a mechanical bulldog ride—it was a really fun event! The quality of life of myself and the entire staff of Glendale has improved, which in turn enables us to take better care of all our patients.

God brought us Dr. Sally Odom this year when we weren’t even looking! She brings a wealth of knowledge and has expanded our exotic animal services. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are very lucky to have her. Dr. Odom is a fellow University of Illinois grad, my alma mater, and it’s been fun comparing notes and remembering many of the same professors and clinicians.

Also this year, Dr. Bunn continued to hone her skills and training with our ultrasound technology so that she can better care for our patients. She will be attending another continuing education class on ultrasonography in January and we are excited that she is able to share this expertise with all Glendale Animal Hospital clients.

Our technician, Sofi, is off to vet school this year. Though we miss her, we are ecstatic for her and are sure she will succeed. The rest of us are hopeful she may return to us when finished with school.

I would like to thank all our clients for your patience through all our transitions and for the trust you place in us in taking care of your furry family members. May you all have a wonderful and blessed holiday season and a happy new year!

Warmly,

Dr. Lori Civello
